Storyteller V1.1 — Documentation

Beta

Introduction

Storyteller V1.1 empowers creators, educators, and institutions to generate complete, high-quality videos from a single prompt—full episodes of explanatory content. Instantly craft engaging explainers on complex topics like how black holes are formed or practical guides like rainwater harvesting. Our AI handles the entire production process—from scriptwriting and visuals to voiceovers—so you produce compelling educational content faster than ever. For creators exploring animation, Storyteller also supports anime-inspired films and episodic content from a single prompt—no manual editing needed.

Who We Are

We’re Nanosecond Labs—a team building AI-first media tools that turn ideas into polished video. Our focus is practicality: results you can ship to students, customers, and audiences with minimal effort.

How Storyteller Works

  1. Describe your goal in natural language (topic, audience, vibe, length).
  2. Choose an engine (quality/style) and optional voice/language.
  3. Optionally upload 1–5 images to steer characters/brand visuals.
  4. Storyteller drafts script → breaks into scenes → generates visuals → composes video → adds voiceover/subtitles.
  5. Review the result and iterate by adjusting your prompt.

Tip: include audience, scene count, tone, and visual cues.

FAQ

What aspect ratio should I choose?
Use 16:9 for YouTube/classrooms; 9:16 for TikTok/Reels/Shorts (where supported).
How long should my prompt be?
2–6 sentences with audience, goal, scene count, tone, and a few visual cues is ideal. See the per-engine examples above for guidance.
Can I bring my own assets?
Yes—use the Image Upload engine to guide the story with your own images of characters, products, or brand assets.
What languages are supported for voiceover?
We support a wide range of languages and accents. You can select your preferred language from the options panel before generating your video.
Can I edit the generated video?
Absolutely. Storyteller provides a finished MP4 file. You can download it and use any standard video editor (like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve) to make tweaks or add music.
How long does a video take to generate?
Generation time depends on the engine, length, and server load. A typical 60-second video usually takes between 5 to 15 minutes. We'll notify you when it's ready.
Are there watermarks on the videos?
Videos generated on the Free plan may include a subtle watermark. Pro and Pro XL plans provide watermark-free exports for professional use.
How do I get the best results from the Image Upload engine?
For best consistency, upload 3-5 images showing your character from different angles (front, side) with a clear view of their face and outfit. The more consistent the source images, the better the result.
Can I add my own music?
Currently, Storyteller does not add music. We focus on generating the visual narrative with voiceover. You can easily add your own soundtrack using any video editor after downloading the MP4.
Do I own the content I create?
Yes, subject to our terms of service, you own the videos you create. You are free to use them for personal, educational, or commercial purposes, depending on your plan.
